I didn't write anything this weekend, because I had no time. On Saturday, I went to the candy unwrapped exibtion in the science museum. I thought they would give us some candy or something, but of course they didn't. But first, I had my lunch in the YMCA restaurant. I couldn't believe the cake tasted so bad, but the spaghetti was good.
When I went to the candy exibition, I didn't see anything really interesting, but there was a game where you ate sour candies. Everyone thought it was sour, but I didn't really think so. And the candy was sweet inside! I learned that we don't feel like swallowing sour things because when we eat something sour, we won't be able to eat it because our body will stop us from swallowing it, thinking that it was a harmful acid. And I also learned some other things from this exibition, then it was time to go.
I also went to the general section of the museum, and I liked the maze with the mirrors. We were supposed to be dizzy when we came out, but nothing happened to my again. When we went to the section on electricity, me and my parents tried to light the light by holding the hands sticking out of the machine. When my mom tried it, the light didn't get turned on. I couldn't believe that. I thought everyone could do it.
After walking around the museum for a while, we had to go. I had to walk a vey long distace to the MTR station. My parents didn't think it was a long way, but I haven't walked a lot for a long time(I prefer staying at home complaining that I am bored)so I thought so.
When we had to have dinner, we went to the clubhouse downstairs. I liked the soup but too bad my dad drank the whole bowl. So we ordered another bowl. But a whole bowl of soup was too much for me. I felt better only after I went to the washroom before going to bed. And I was VERY tired.
That was only Saturday. On Sunday, Phoebe came to my home. Too bad she had to go before dinner. She had to watch the Harry Potter movie. First, my mom brought us to the KFC in Tsing Yi for lunch. When we got to my home, it was already 1:30, so we only had about three hours left. My mom made some dumplings for us after we got home. But first we had to act good in front of my dad or he would kick Phoebe out of the house (really). So we went into my room to play Scrabble. I won because I knew how to get more points. First, I put the word "quit" on a triple word, and I got a lot of points. Then I put "ter" after "quit" so I got "quitter" and even more points. Finally I put "s" after "quitter" and I got even more points. Anyway I won!
After being good, I thought maybe my dad would let us use the computer. Phoebe really likes spongebob squarepants, so she wanted to show me some of the shows on the computer. Although I used to watch spongbob when I was in year 1, I still thought it was funny. But of course my dad wasn't so happy about that, because Phoebe used to introduce some computer games to me, and he thought she was doing this again. And I know that if I go to that spongebob website ever again, I would be punished or yelled at.
At 4:00, Phoebe's mom and brother came, and of course my parents got all nice and fussed over Phoebe's brother. At last I understood why Phoebe used to be so sad when her brother hit her but no one scolded him. They even let him use the new computer. But when me and Phoebe used the computer, my dad always says something bad. I really can't understand it. And my dad even had to praise Phoebe and her brother and say how bad I was. Later I asked him why he did something as bad as that, and he said he wanted to be nice. I suggest that he stop yelling at me when I am talking to Phoebe on the phone. Then maybe Phoebe would respect him more.
And that was the end of the weekend so now I can continue spending my time on being bored.
